End of Freshman year of college!

Hello all! It's been awhile since I've last blogged. Let's just say these past two months has been hectic and a lot going on for me. First off, freshman year is officially over. I finished finals today. I'm so glad it's over. No more stressing out and studying so hard. Freshman year of college went by so fast this year. I remember last year in August '09, my sister and I moved in the dorms and getting ready as freshmans. This year was great. It was filled with many wonderful memories with friends and loved ones. I'm glad I met you all. You know who you are. I want to say thank you for all the great times and of course thank you all for being there for me through my hardest times. You definitely should know who you are. =) I met many people this year. I met a lot of friendly, sweet, nice people and some bitches and assholes of course. Lol. I would definitely say that first semester of freshman year is more stressful just because him and I were long distance and I had my English class that was pretty darn stressful. I had a lot of essays and writing to do. This semester is more relaxing and easier but I still worked hard for my grades and making sure I'm doing well in school. So today Nancy and I checked out McConnell Hall. Haha, I'm going to miss the memories in McConnell Hall. Staying up late doing nothing, hanging out with my girls in the dorm room, meeting next door neighbors, watching late night movies, playing board games, going out as late as I want without having a curfew or parents calling me and checking up on me, walking to Walmart/Target, having snow days and no finals first semester, going outside of McConnell to play in the snow and sledding and many more! This year was awesome. Although, I'm not going to miss showering with flip flops in the restroom, loud and drunk people running around and being loud as hell at night, random guys knocking on my door asking to chill, and taking a crap in the restroom feeling awkward because there's two more people next to you and all you hear is noises. Lmao. Now I'm officially a sophomore in college. Yay! Wow, time goes by quickly huh? I remember when I was a senior in high school and then graduating. Haha. So next semester I'm going to room with my sister and have two more friends as my suite mates in our suite style dorm. We have our own restroom in the middle. So that would be nice. But I really wished I looked over signing up for on campus housing because I realize that it's more expensive. I wished I looked carefully. Living off campus in an apartment would be cool too and cheaper but I didn't think it over. Stupid me. Anyways, I'm excited for the summer because I have a long break. I plan to find a full-time summer job though. I want to work a lot and keep myself productive. I need money and I don't want to ask parents for money. I hate it. Freshman year of college, I didn't have a job. My parents gave me and my sister money when I was in need of it. But I really don't like asking. I feel very bad because they work hard for it. I want to work over the summer and save money too. I want to also find a job for sophomore year of college. Besides working over the summer, I'm excited to see my family and friends back home. I miss them a lot. Mother's Day is on Sunday and my sister and I sent my mom a card and wrote in Chinese in it too. She received it today and she loves it. :) I plan to go on a road trip to LA with some friends over the summer. Hopefully that would work out. I do miss California a lot. I miss the beach especially! Haha. It's lovely! So the month of April has been very hard on me and for a lot of people too. It's the worst month ever. I hate it. A lot has been going on with him and I. I really hope things get better and improve. This is probably one of the biggest bump and obstacle that I have in my life right now and it's hard. It's really hard to handle and go through this. Every night I pray to God and I always have hope and faith in us. I really do believe so. I hope you know that. I cry often a lot but that's normal. I can't help it and can't hold in the tears. But I stay strong and positive everyday. I also want to thank my friends who were there for me and supporting me. I'm glad I have a lot of support. It shows me a lot of love and care. Without you all, I don't know what I would do. I miss you so much, I miss you more than ever. I want you to know that I love you so much. You are the love of my life. <3 You mean so much to me, you are very special and you are the ONE. ♥ We're going to overcome this obstacle and bump. I love you. Hmm, anyways I'm in Phoenix right now and going to be here for a week. I'm going to spend time with my sister, Lance, and my friend Sarena and hopefully Sara too. It's great to feel the heat again since Flagstaff is never really that hot. We might go partying or clubbing this weekend. Who knows. Lol. But dancing and partying does sound fun right now. I need it. It's good to take things off my mind and just have fun and not stress about school or anything. We're also probably going shopping, getting our nails done, swimming, watching movies, going downtown Phoenix and stuff. That should be fun, I hope. I'll be back in Vegas next Thursday. It will be nice to be home but at the same time it's going to be so hot! AC on 24/7. I'm also going to go job hunting. I've been applying to many places online but it's pretty hard. No one has contacted me yet. Ugh. I hope I find a job soon so I can start working soon. The sooner the better. Anyway, it's getting late now and I should go to bed soon. I'm pretty tired from all the moving out of the dorms and stuff. I feel pain in my body right now. And my right arm looks a bit bloody, a bit bruised and scratches. It looks nasty. I'll definitely update and blog more often over the summer since I have more time now. Haha. Okay, ending with a quote or two:

Hello readers. :)

Hello. :) New background! I decided to change the background to roses. I think it's cute and simple. It is already November! So fast huh? I've been here for two months and going on to three months now. First semester is flying by so quickly. Lately, classes has been alright. Not too bad. English class is the hectic class with a lot of essays. We are moving on to Writing Project #5 and this essay is going to be 8-10 pages. Crazy huh? Eh, I'm not looking forward to write this essay. Also, this week we have a presentation in class about our topic. I'm not ready for that either. I'm a bit nervous. Oh well. English will be done soon. I can't wait till the semester is over. The weather here lately is pretty darn cold. It snowed a couple of days ago. It was beautiful though! I love the snow. <3 Anyways, I am excited for the holidays; Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. On Thanksgiving, I get to spend it with my baby and his family! We are going to have so much fun and spend time with each other! Also, I am excited for Black Friday shopping! Yay! =) So, my family doesn't really celebrate it so they don't expect me to go back home, and plus a week or two after Thanksgiving break, I go back home. I really miss my parents and my little sister. Although, we do talk to each other every weekend and what not. I especially miss my mom's homemade food. It's the best! I am getting tired of college food because it makes me sick or upsets my tummy. =/ I am very picky with food and sometimes I just don't want to eat or I will eat cup noodles or something simple in my dorm room. I miss Colby so much. :( *Sigh. Lately, we argued a bit and we were both very sad and emotional. I am sorry babe. We are okay now and better. I don't want to argue anymore and just love each other. I can't wait to see him. I love you! ♥ Hmm, my birthday is going to be in a month or so. :) Hugs, kisses, birthday gifts! <3 Lol. I like it how my birthday is around the Holidays too! Hahah. It's pretty cool. Winter break is going to be great! I get to see my family and some friends back home. :) Also, winter break is going to be for one month! Awesome huh? Anywho, I should get going. I have a Chinese quiz tomorrow, which I am sure I will do fine. I got A's for all the quizzes and midterm so far. I will do a little more studying tomorrow during break and read my sociology book. I need to talk to my coach too because I need to update her! :P Okay, until next time. Bye!

A great time in college! =)

Hello, guys! :) It's been awhile since I've last blogged. Anyways, lately I have been extremely busy with homework and studying. I've been working on my writing project #3 for English and it is a pain in the ass. I like English sometimes, but not when I have an essay every week or two weeks. It sucks. We are writing an informational argument essay. I hope I do well on this one. All we do in this English class is write. Haha, I prefer literature and reading more than writing essays all the time. So I guess last week and this week is like midterm week. I took my Chinese midterm test on Wednesday. I got my test results back on Thursday. I got a 95% on it! I am so proud of myself. Yay! It was easy for me though because I did take three years of Chinese in high school. As for my other classes, I didn't have a midterm. Well, I took my Theatre test #2. It wasn't that bad. I have a Sociology test on Wednesday. Eh, I hope I do well on this one because I wasn't satisfied with my grade on the first one. I have to do lots of studying! College so far is just so awesome! I love it so much and of course better than high school! I have been here at NAU for two months now. Wow, so fast right? So yesterday night (101709), I went clubbing with my girls at Studio 111 downtown. It was hosted by my friend's sorority. =) It was also my first time clubbing. Haha :P Um, the club looked decent and wasn't that big. However, I did have a lot of fun dancing and having a good time. About time that I have a good weekend since I've been stressing out with homework and studying. Lol. I am still sore and tired from dancing; my thigh hurts. Lol. Anyways, this week is Homecoming week! I am excited! There is the homecoming dance, parade and game. =) It's going to be great. I still need to find a dress though. Hahah. Next weekend is Halloween! And I still do not know what am I wearing because I don't know what I want to be yet. :P Okay, here are some pictures that I took recently! Not all of them are on here. NAU! =)

So I am going to recap about the couple days that I've been here at Northern Arizona University. :)

THURSDAY, August 20th - We left Vegas around 3AM and got to NAU around 8AM. :) Nancy and I checked-in too McConnell Hall and went up to our dorm room. Then we went back to the car to unload our stuff and then brought it up to the dorm. We went back and forth and dang it was tiring. We walked up hill and down hill. After unloading we just rested for awhile in our dorm. Later that afternoon, Nancy, Vanessa, my mom, and I decided to walk to central campus and to the bookstore. Wow it's pretty far from my dorm. Like 20 min walk. That sucks. Which mean my classes are going to be far from McConnell too. :( Oh well. After the bookstore we just walked back to my dorm and our parents decided to go to Target. We got some essentials and stuff. Headed back to our dorm and changed and got ready for the BBQ at 6:30PM. Parents dropped us off and then they left. I'm going to miss them a lot. But I'm officially independent and free now. Haha. We went to the BBQ and there was a long long line! Wow, Nancy and I waited for 1 hour just to get pizza. I didn't know it was pizza. Hahah. After that we decided to walk back to our dorm and just showered. And then back to the dorm to unpack so more stuff.

FRIDAY, August 21st - Second day in NAU! Woke up early in the morning around 8:30AM. Dang, early as hell but somehow I wasn't that tired. In Vegas, I wake up pretty late around like 1 or 2PM. Lol. Oh well. So then after that got ready and went to eat breakfast at the Du Bois Dining hall. Chilled for awhile and Wilson called saying he got here at NAU. So we went down and helped him unload and stuff. After that we just hung out for awhile at his dorm. Then they came over to my dorm and chilled. I met his friend Anthony which he is pretty nice. Around 3:45PM Anthony and I walked towards central campus because I have a coaching orientation to go to. We kind of got lost but we went to Wilson Hall and ask his RA where the Liberal Arts building is. Then we found it. Anthony was really nice to walk me all the way there. Thanks dude! :) Went to orientation and I met Alex for the first time. :) She's really nice and pretty. It was pretty cool. After that we all went outside and played a game and then got pizza and then sit in our group and getting to know each other. People are really friendly here and I'm glad. :] After orientation I met up with Wilson and Nancy at the HOTSPOT dining hall. We ate dinner together. After that we went to Target again and we bought more stuff for our dorm. I spent a lot there. T__T' Then Wilson's parents came and picked us up and then dropped us off back to the dorm. For the rest of the night we just hung out.

SATURDAY, August 22nd - Nancy and I woke around 7:30AM for breakfast with Gabe and Wilson because Gabe had Band Camp at 9. We went to the Du Bois dining hall and it was close. So we drove to central campus to the HOTSPOT and it was close. Turns out that power went off so nothing worked. We drove back to the dorm and finally power worked again. We were pissed off. Lol. So we just chilled at Wilson's dorm. We just ate ramen. Hahah. Oh well. Then Nancy and I went back to our dorm and took a nap because it was still early. We woke up around 10:30AM and got ready for lunch because Wilson's parents are taking us out. We went downtown to Galaxy's Diner. It was pretty bomb! I had chicken fried steak. :) They give you really big portions and it's cheap too. After lunch we headed to Wal-Mart and got some more stuff. Lol. Okay so after Wal-Mart we went to the bookstore. But it was too hot and long line so we left. We went back to our dorm first. Then later Wilson's parents left. We went to Starbucks and got some coffee. Anthony met up with us. After that we ate dinner. =) After dinner we just walked around campus and then back to the dorms again. Waited for Gabe to come back and we went to Target. LOL I know again, but I had to return some stuff. :P And that was my day.

SUNDAY, August 23rd - Third day, one more day before school starts. I'm excited and nervous the same time! Haha. Woke up around 9:30AM and got ready to go eat breakfast with the guys. Went to Einstein Bros. Got a iced coffee and bagel. :) We talked and ate for awhile. After that Nancy and I headed back to the dorm and just relax for awhile and while the guys are heading to Gateway to print out their schedule and stuff. I might head off to central campus a little later. I have to go the UT&T bookstore later to get my NAU 100 book. Tonight at 7PM there is a mandatory hall meeting for the girls down at the lobby. I plan to sleep a bit early tonight because I start class tomorrow at 9AM. :P I tend to get more tired here because of the elevation. We're on the mountains. :P

Okay, time for me to go! I'll come back for more exciting updates! So far it's been great and I'm having a lot of fun! I love COLLEGE! And also the weather is lovely. :) Breezy and nice, unlike Vegas. Lol. Bye!
